On the wonderful island of Hvar in Dalmatia, from where you can see the lights of Italy on a clear day, surrounded by cypress and olive trees, lavender fields, rosemary bushes and fragrant sage, the old Dalmatian farm Sveti Juraj, built in the early years of the 20th century, awaits you. Here, in a labyrinth of stone walls from an ancient time, in the fields of tranquillity, only 500 metres as the crow flies from the sea and about 30 minutes from the town of Hvar, pure romance awaits you!

This autochthonous farm once served the field workers as shelter and protection from the hot Mediterranean midday sun, or as a place where they could warm up by the stove in the cold season with a glass of wine and a piece of homemade cheese. Like so many other farms throughout Dalmatia, this farm lives the life of this island’s ancestors in harmony with unspoilt nature.

Within the stone-walled courtyard you will find an outdoor barbecue, a dining table, a large swimming pool, a tennis court, the main building and two outbuildings, which are separated by only a few metres. In total, the Sveti Juraj farm can accommodate 14 people.

The main building houses the cosy living and dining area with fireplace and pull-out sofa bed, the fully equipped kitchen and two rustic bedrooms, each with 35 m² of living space. Both bedrooms have a double bed and a private bathroom. One of the bedrooms, with space for a total of 4 people, also has a single bed and a pull-out couch. The other bedroom has a double bed and space for an extra bed. (space for 3 persons).

The two other bedrooms are located in the two adjoining buildings. One of the two rooms is 50 m² and has a toilet, two single beds and a sofa bed. In total, there is room for 4 people here.

The fourth bedroom is located in the other outbuilding and is 30m². It has a double bed, a sofa bed and a private bathroom with toilet and bathtub. In total, there is room for 3 people here.

This traditional farm is the ideal place for a relaxing and varied holiday with family or friends! From here you have the perfect opportunity to explore the island on long walks, adventurous bike rides or short car rides. Or simply relax by the pool and enjoy the peace and quiet and the wonderful Mediterranean air with a glass of red wine. For the sports enthusiasts among you, there is a tennis court, a basketball hoop and a bowling alley. This is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday!

Check-In from: 5 pm
Check-Out until: 10 a.m.
The prices are valid for a minimum stay of 7 days. In case of a shorter stay
25% of the final price will be added.
Arrival and departure is only possible on Saturdays.
A security deposit of € 500 is payable in cash on arrival.
Local taxes of 1 € per person/day will be charged

The extraordinary Vertigo Palace welcomes you in the heart of the small coastal town of Jelsa on the island of Hvar. It stands out for its centuries-old architecture and history. It is a palace with soul! This is a place where olive oil and essential oils were once produced and this very place has now been transformed by its owners into a holiday home that will enchant you.

The Vertigo Palace can accommodate up to 14 people, with over 600 m² of living space, plus 200 m² of gardens and terraces.

On the first floor are the four bedrooms, each with a double bed, an extra bed and its own bathroom and satellite TV. Two of the bedrooms can be accessed through an outside door.

On the ground floor, you are welcomed by the modern and fully equipped kitchen and the cosy living and dining area. Here you will also find the large dining table with room for up to 14 people, a cosy sofa set to extend (room for up to 4 people) and gas fireplace. From the living area you can access the beautiful terrace and the Mediterranean garden with its long swimming pool (15m x 2.40m). Here you can relax after a wonderful summer day with a glass of red wine. Inside the stone walls there is a round (24m²) indoor pool. On hot summer days it is very refreshing to swim here, while in cold months it is very pleasant as the pool can be heated. There is also a fitness room and a sauna with a relaxation area. Another highlight of the palace is the sophisticated sound system on the ground floor, which is perfect for a private party. The high stone walls surrounding the historic palace guarantee sufficient privacy. This place is perfect for a holiday with friends or family.
