On the wonderful island of Hvar in Dalmatia, from where you can see the lights of Italy on a clear day, surrounded by cypress and olive trees, lavender fields, rosemary bushes and fragrant sage, the old Dalmatian farm Sveti Juraj, built in the early years of the 20th century, awaits you. Here, in a labyrinth of stone walls from an ancient time, in the fields of tranquillity, only 500 metres as the crow flies from the sea and about 30 minutes from the town of Hvar, pure romance awaits you!<\/p>\n
This autochthonous farm once served the field workers as shelter and protection from the hot Mediterranean midday sun, or as a place where they could warm up by the stove in the cold season with a glass of wine and a piece of homemade cheese. Like so many other farms throughout Dalmatia, this farm lives the life of this island’s ancestors in harmony with unspoilt nature.<\/p>\n
Within the stone-walled courtyard you will find an outdoor barbecue, a dining table, a large swimming pool, a tennis court, the main building and two outbuildings, which are separated by only a few metres. In total, the Sveti Juraj farm can accommodate 14 people.<\/p>\n
The main building houses the cosy living and dining area with fireplace and pull-out sofa bed, the fully equipped kitchen and two rustic bedrooms, each with 35 m\u00b2 of living space. Both bedrooms have a double bed and a private bathroom. One of the bedrooms, with space for a total of 4 people, also has a single bed and a pull-out couch. The other bedroom has a double bed and space for an extra bed. (space for 3 persons).<\/p>\n
The two other bedrooms are located in the two adjoining buildings. One of the two rooms is 50 m\u00b2 and has a toilet, two single beds and a sofa bed. In total, there is room for 4 people here.<\/p>\n
The fourth bedroom is located in the other outbuilding and is 30m\u00b2. It has a double bed, a sofa bed and a private bathroom with toilet and bathtub. In total, there is room for 3 people here.<\/p>\n
This traditional farm is the ideal place for a relaxing and varied holiday with family or friends! From here you have the perfect opportunity to explore the island on long walks, adventurous bike rides or short car rides. Or simply relax by the pool and enjoy the peace and quiet and the wonderful Mediterranean air with a glass of red wine. For the sports enthusiasts among you, there is a tennis court, a basketball hoop and a bowling alley. This is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday!<\/p>\n
