Villa Benvenuti

The beautiful Villa Benvenuti welcomes you in the heart of Istria, more precisely in the hilltop village of Kaldir. This very hilly region is known worldwide, among other things, for its wine growing and its high quality truffle varieties.

The villa is owned by the Benvenuti family of the same name, which is one of the most successful winemaking families in Croatia. In 2014 the villa was renovated and offers a recognizable combination of a modern and at the same time traditional style. With approximately 200 m² it extends over two floors.

On the first floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area for 8 people and the living room, which has a traditional Istrian fireplace. There is also a cozy winter garden, which can be used as a covered lounge in summer and as a cozy extension of the living room in winter.

Furthermore, on this floor there is a laundry room, a guest toilet and one of the three bedrooms with private bathroom. On the upper floor you are welcomed by the two additional bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One of these bedrooms has a pull-out sofa bed. The spacious outdoor area of the villa has a lawn, a 35m² heated pool and a covered terrace with a dining table and chairs. There is also a brick barbecue here.

A special feature: not far from the villa is the family’s eponymous winery. The owners offer guests of their villa a tour of the wine cellar and a tasting of their fine wines. In order to fully explore the wonderful surroundings where you will spend your vacation, Villa Benvenuti provides bicycles. The cozy interior, the fireplace in the living room, the winter garden and the heated outdoor pool offer you the possibility to spend a relaxing and unforgettable vacation in Istria even in colder months.
